Rancho Santa Margarita voters have four choices to pick from in choosing three people to serve on the City Council for the next four years. Incumbents on the ballot are Anne Figueroa, who is currently serving the year as mayor, and Jerry Holloway, who has been on the council since 2002, and Brad J. McGirr, who was a planning commissioner before joining the council. Hoping to unseat one of them and join the council is Ken Dixon, a training manager and resident of the Robinson Ranch neighborhood.
